I did pre-order Alphard as well. They make a scene together, I couldn't keep 'em apart.

Yeah that second one is probably my favourite out of the batch. I'm glad that Canaan didn't turn out as horrible as in the HS pics, but the finish quality on her still could've been better - much better! =P Can't wait to see some of your pics! Did you get Alphard too?

Loving those 'action' shot pictures. Some of them just worked so well, I particularly liked this ones...

Glad most of the Canaan figures are turning out well. After the Hobby Search thing Chag mentioned, and noticing that foo-bar-baz didn't review his figure, I started to wonder just how bad she really was. Mine looks ok, though still in the box.

What's wrong with being a Lemming? Well, it's great when you find the exit but really sucks when you go over a cliff. LOL I think it's not just this hobby, but in just about everything, most people will go along with the masses. I haven't seen Ringo in person, but the pictures I've seen seems alright to me. I think she looks alright. The masses usually jumps on the bandwagon if a popular person starts the snowball effect, so maybe you should start doing some Nendoroid reviews and say how horrible they are. I'm sure that'll get the snowball effect going! :P

Digital camo courtesy of USMC Desert Marpat, thought it fit well with this shot of Canaan. I also used it for Ritona Yoko's shoot. The red desert background is shot at a landmark at a nearby city which I never thought I'd be taking figure photos at. Worked out well though, felt a bit odd to be taking these photos at a public area though.

Thanks Rico!

It's a shame the skin shading is almost non existent, but there are some on her back, but pretty faint. Plus I don't think that many people will displaying Canaan backwards. lol

The airbrushing on the base is alright, it doesn't bother me much but it definitely makes me feel it was rushed and they didn't care about the quality. Then again, this is a mass production item, so I guess that's to be expected.

It's definitely interesting how that little peg will change the look of this figure depending on how you position it. :D
