An update to my previous post about Narika…
Good news and bad news…
Good news is that I found a source for Narika and she is now in my possession, although I had to pay almost twice the original price. Still, I think that’s a fair price considering how next-to-impossible it is to get this figure. Now that I have her in hand, I have to say it’s definitely a work of art from Alter. I don’t know how I didn’t notice this figure before (when it was still readily available).
The bad news is that it’s hard to find (maybe not so hard within Japan) now, and I took a look on eBay for the heck of it and found only one seller was selling this Narika. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the asking price – I wonder who would pay that much for her? She is definitely special, but that price is fairly steep. And what if Narika does get a re-release? Wouldn’t that just piss you off if had bought it? If anyone else out there is still looking for Narika – I do wish you the best of luck!
Be on the look out for my review of this figure in the near future – I’m so very tempted to let her cut in line of my other reviews. ^_^’
Narika is a great figure is true. Alter made an amazing work with sculpture and colors (I love them)… But 482$ ?? No! I am waiting for your review with impatience ^^ Narika is definitly a must have for high quality figures collectors.
Yeah, I’m so glad I was able to obtain this figure! It is simply amazing in the amount of detail and paint work. Can’t wait to take some photos of her – just gotta think of some ideas on what to do. There are many reviews of her already with great pics already!
Oh my goodness… that price is too much. I would love to see if she sells at that price though. I would feel so bad for that individual, but if they found it worth it, that’s up to them I guess.
Yup, that price is pretty insane. I’d like to see if it’d sell too. From the previous listings, it seems like the seller kept increasing the price when he re-lists it. It went from $250 to $300 and now to $482.50 – I guess he knows he’s the only game in town. Gotta pay to play I guess!

Yes, thanks to Ashlotte on MFC. He mailed it out this past week, should arrive in a week or so I imagine.

That’s quite the price! It’s good that you got her for “only” twice the price, since she’s an amazing figure. I rated her my fifth favorite figure of last year but after a couple of months’ thought, I think I’d actually rate her third. I’ve got my fingers crossed that Alter makes a figure of Subaru … someday …
Yeah I saw your ratings and your review of Narika a few months after the release. Dunno why I didn’t pay more attention to it earlier, otherwise I wouldn’t have had such a hard time trying to locate one. Glad I finally got one though and not at an insane price like in the pic. lol
If Alter comes out with a Subaru figure, I’d be all over it like white on rice! Come on Alter, complete the set!!
