So lately I haven’t been keeping up with my postings due to many factors, mainly due to taking care of the baby. But I’ve also been keeping up with other hobbies, such as the continual modification of my GTI, collection of anime figures and Macross Valks. Resources ($) is unfortunately running low so it’s getting harder and harder to concentrate on what to purchase. Best bet is to not purchase anything at all, but then what would be the fun in that?

A little bit late on this, but I guess it’s better late than never! Haven’t updated the blog section much now that I’ve been working on the reviews section more and more. But it’s time to get back to the roots and update this thing!
We’ve been planning on the GO Dubn’ meet for a few months now, and many of us eagerly awaited for the May date to arrive. The local weather has been going up and down quite a bit lately so it was “anything goes”. A couple weeks ago it was 20+ degrees Celsius while the past week it’s been in the the low 10′s (and lower). A little odd for May, but most of us were already prepped, cars were washed and waxed and ready to roll!

Heard about the Canon Lens Thermal Mug a few weeks ago (they were given away at the Vancouver Winter Olympics), but didn’t pay much attention to it. Then I got an e-mail today from Canon indicating that they were giving these away with purchases of $200 or more from their eStore. I searched around and looks like Henry’s and Vistek had pre-orders going since last week!

Well, woke up this moring to some beautiful fluffy snowfall, the perfect snowfall that I’ve been waiting for to take some photos of. There was one problem though – WORK! I had to get to work!
Mother nature waits for no one, so unfortunately I’ve missed out on a great photo opportunity again due to work. Seriously, sometimes I hate doing the Monday to Friday 9-5 work hours. No, wait, I always hate doing the Monday to Friday 9-5 work hours. But it has to be done, need to pay the bills!
It’d be great if I can do photography full time, but right now it’s just not viable. So, unfortunately for this drone, I’m going to have to hope mother nature will work its wonders again over the weekends! LOL
