After going back and forth with myself, I’ve decided to get a new domain name that will be a little more general and personal at the same time. The first domain was DarkAperture.com which served my personal blog and some photography at the time. After awhile, I decided to pursue more of a photographic website thus the creation of PeterHPhotography.com (I couldn’t think of any good names, lol). That didn’t work out so well as my life took a turn and I pretty much stopped pursuing the photographic field. That’s not to say my interest in photography stopped, it just won’t be my primary career path. That leads me to think about creating a new website where I can blend personal aspects with my interest in photography.
One of the hardest part of creating a new site is thinking of an URL name, I think it took me a week or two to come up with the current URL. Most of the ideas I thought of were either taken or parked (on that note, I think parked domains should die a horrible death). The next part will be to update my current gallery and design a new front page and logo. I suck at design, so this might take me awhile – I’m still an old school notepad HTML programmer. LOL
Please bear with me during the construction and creation phase, it’ll take some time. I’m also searching for suitable themes for my blog and gallery pages, I might stick with the current blog theme though, it’s fairly well done (kudos to the creators).
Thanks and welcome to VisualFanfare.com!
